As a group we have decided that for our music video the narrative of our video will mostly have the conventional narrative of an alternative rock music video as we will show both the bad and good side of a situation. For the most part what we show on the screen through acting will be very related to the lyrics of the song and therefore we can show a story as we have already looked through the song lyrics and analysed them to what we interpret them as.
For this song we have decided to stick to the more linear narrative at the moment and Todorov's idea of narrative structure for the most part but will also use Barthes codes in the video of they are commonly seen is videos within the Alternative Rock genre.
