Below is a prezi which shows our narrative plan and how we will shown the narrative in relation to the actual footage and its relation to the lyrics. I have also described how we will cut to the band within the video and why we will cut in this way or time during the video. Along with this I have described how all of the characters and band members will be represented in the video.
This will be useful as we now have a basis for the narrative of our video and therefore when it comes to making a storyboard for the narrative of the video we will know how the main story will be in relation the the lyrics and therefore we will just have to think about the shot types and smaller details of the narrative:

Lip-syncing Research
I have looked into research into lip-syncing as this is something that we will need to do as when we show the band in our video we will have to have the person who is acting as the lead singer lip-sync the lyrics of the song.
From the research that I have done I can see that to make the lip-syncing effective in a video we must:
From the research that I have done I can see that to make the lip-syncing effective in a video we must:
- Play the music in the background when lip-syncing- This is so that the timing of the singing is matched so that it looks like the person lip-syncing as actually singing.
- With this however the person lip-syncing must also memories the lyrics before they begin to lip-sync as this will make it look more realistic when they pretend to sing.
- The music will be added properly later in the editing stage to make it sound as good as possible.
- A way to ensure that the music is properly synced up with the video is to slow it down with the music so that we can ensure it is as realistic as possible.
Here are some examples of The Arctic Monkeys Lip-syncing in music videos:
The majority of perfecting the lip-syncing will be done in the editing stage of the project as this is where we will ensure that it is all matched up and correct. From the research which I have done I can see how lip-syncing is a common occurrence in almost all music video's across all genre's when they depict a person singing the song and therefore this research will be very useful. It will help us understand how to perfect lip-syncing within a music video.

Live performance research
I have looked into live Arctic Monkeys live performances and we will then attempt to replicate this is our music video, we will show the band in a small venue when they are performing and therefore I have looked into video's of the band when they are in a small venue so that we can apply it to what we will shown in our video:
From this research we are able to see how we will film the live performance of the band as we will have cuts to the band in certain parts of our narrative and this research will therefore help up in knowing how to film the band when we show them. Although this is a full live performance of a song it will still be applicable as we can see what shot types and editing techniques are commonly used and will apply these to our filming of the band.
This is an image of me and Bayley looking at a different live performance where the band are in a bigger venue so that we can see the different shot types used along with the way in which the band act so that we can attempt to somewhat replicate this in our live performance:
